Vancouver, WA – We are excited to announce that we will be presenting at this year’s NFB State of Washington Convention during Saturday afternoon’s breakout sessions. This year’s convention will be held over zoom and our facilitator will be the Executive Director of Activate Inclusion and member of the IBR Equity Advisory Group, Matthew Hines. We also are very pleased to announce our guest speaker of our session, Larry Watkinson, from the Washington Department of Transportation, who will join us to share his role with WA-DOT, IBR and to share other transformative projects that are on the horizon for our region.
Please join us for our presentation as we share what IBR is, how you can get involved and share in engaging dialogue on current and upcoming transportation projects that will create generational impacts throughout the region for our Blind, Low-Vision and Deafblind community.

ABOUT NATIONAL FEDERATION OF THE BLIND OF WASHINGTON
The National Federation of the Blind of Washington knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back. Together with love, hope and determination we transform the dreams of blind Washingtonians into reality.
